Not only do men make passes at girls who wear glasses....

...but they MARRY them, too!  Check out this styled shoot I did  for the Blog, "Wedding Chicks"featuring these gorgeous glass frames from Rowley Eyeware. If you wear glasses all the time and can't imagine donning contact lenses for your wedding day here's a beautiful idea:

ROWLEY EYEWEAR + TASTEFUL TATTERS BRIDAL EYEWEAR GIVEAWAY

Boy do we have a special treat for you today! Rowley eyewear is a killer eyeglasses company that makes the chicest frames in some of the prettiest colors. I’ve been following them for a bit now and I got to thinking about how you NEVER see brides in glasses. Our society has made the “perfect bridal look” a no glasses zone. Which is perfectly fine. But for some gals – wearing their specs is their normal or day to day look. In fact, they feel super weird NOT in their glasses. And I was thinking about how there has got to be options for gals who want to wear glasses on their wedding day while also feeling sexy and chic.
So we’ve done exactly that. I’ve partnered with Rowley to give brides some ideas for how to wear glasses on your wedding day but still feel totally fabulous and fashionable. We hope you feel inspired and maybe even dare to wear specs on your big day!

Gorgeous – right?! (Huge thanks to Becca Rillo Photography!) So now for the fun part: We’re giving away a FREE pair to one lucky bride to be! To enter: first you must follow @Tasteful Tatters & @RowleyEyewear on Instagram – then leave a comment below letting us know that you did & include your favorite Rowley look and how you’ll rock them! We’ll be picking one lucky gal Monday, April 14th at 9pm pst. Be sure to check out the Rowley website (link below) to see all the amazing styles and how the ordering process works – it is beyond easy!

LOVE this Eyelash Adhesive!

Last week, I was in Nigel's Beauty Supply in North Hollywood looking for eyelash adhesive or, I should say a NEW ( for me, anyway) brand of adhesive. I had just finished a  job where my client had a bad reaction to the brand I was using. I decided to try this Korean brand called "Callas". The directions said it was waterproof, and Latex free but what I thought was interesting about it  was that you put the white glue on the false eyelashes and wait for it to become transparent before you apply it to the client's eye. When it turns transparent, you know that it's tacky enough so it won't slide off of the eye. Also, it is in a tube with a brush so that you can apply the glue to the lashes like you would eyeliner. Simple, but brilliant!
It's $4.99 and if you go to callas.com, you can find stores in Southern California where you can purchase it.
